Join Utah Clean Energy's Climate Scientist Logan Mitchell, for a trip down Utah's air quality past, and a glimpse into our future.
Explore Utah's rich history of air quality highs and lows with help from digital news clippings and research chronicling air quality issues dating back over 100 years. There has been a robust legacy of women-led organizations and civic engagement around air quality beginning in the early 30s through present day. Understanding the arc of our energy and air quality history provides context for where we're at today and where we're heading in the future as Utah deploys clean energy technologies to tackle the twin challenges of air quality and climate change.
The event will be held at the AES office on Wednesday September 6th at 4pm. There will be a happy hour at the office following the discussion!
Attendees can park cars and bikes in the building's parking garage, accessible via Wilmington Avenue (just below 1300 E). Elevators are in the garage to bring attendees to the 5th floor. Please reach out to alexa.dlouhy@aes.com with questions.
