    Wei Cai is the Chief Technology Officer for Technip Energies and is part of the Executive Committee. In this role, Dr. Cai shapes our technology strategy to support business growth and leads our Technology and Innovation organization to drive technology execution, both organically and inorganically. Dr. Cai also champions external collaborations and alliances to build the technology ecosystem for the company.

    Before joining Technip Energies, Dr. Cai spent more than 18 years at GE Research, where she held various leadership roles including General Manager of the GE Global Research Center in Shanghai. She transferred to GE Research headquarters, in New York, as the Executive Business Program Manager, then became the Executive Technology Director- Functional Materials, and more recently, the Executive Energy Transformation Technology Leader. Dr. Cai also served a dual role as the Inclusion & Diversity leader for GE Research.

    Dr. Cai holds a Ph.D. in Material Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Cai has more than 40 patents filed and has authored numerous journal articles.

    Susan Stewart is the Interim Managing Director of Investments for MassCEC’s 2030 Fund. The fund invests in promising climate-tech companies as they de-risk their technology, reach early commercial milestones, and attract growth funding. Before MassCEC, she was active in building multiple start-ups including roles as CFO/COO of an Energy Storage and Management company and VP of Finance at Blockchain Identity Management company. Before pivoting to start-ups, Susan held financial and operational roles at Draper Labs and IBM. Susan has an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business and a BA from Wellesley College.
