The Women's Energy Network Annual Business Meeting is an opportunity for the Global Board of Directors to provide updates on key initiatives, share accomplishments and goals, and answer questions from members.

    Gillian started her career in the energy industry and has grown to love the challenges that the fluctuating energy market provides. Clients appreciate that Gillian is nimble, responsive, and efficient, and therefore a good steward with their resources. Gillian works with oil and gas developers on their transactional matters, including title examinations and title opinions, and due diligence for acquisitions. In addition, she assists oil and gas clients in the preparation and review of all documents relating to mineral title ownership, including easements, deeds, leases, and other transactional contracts and documents.

    Gillian is a member of the firm’s Renewable Energy Team and assists clients with their wind, hydroelectric, and solar operations. She has counseled clients on dual operations on their land, leasing for solar purposes, and site control.

    Business Development Executive at Moss Adams, LLP

    Sally Hallingstad is a Business Development Executive for the energy group at Moss Adams, a national tax, assurance, and consulting firm. Prior to Moss Adams, she was the VP of Membership and Development with Western Energy Alliance, where she was responsible for soliciting new members as well as creating programs and events for current members. Sally’s been involved with Colorado’s oil and natural gas industry for more than 10 years, kicking off her career as the Executive Director of the Denver Petroleum Club before joining the communications team at Whiting Petroleum.

    Women’s Energy Network (WEN) is one of her passions and has been since the Colorado Chapter started in 2016. Having volunteered in several roles on both the Chapter and Global boards, she’s currently serving as WEN Global President Elect, becoming President in 2025.

    Over the years, Sally has developed into a collaborative connector who’s passionate about finding solutions for a variety of situations. She also admits to having a “Vanilla Ice Complex,” as her tagline is: “If there’s a problem, yo, I'll solve it. Check out this hook while my network resolves it.”
