The energy transition is one of the most referenced topics globally today – but what does it actually mean and how is it impacting the future of energy creation, transportation, and consumption in the U.S. and beyond?


Join two pivotal leaders of Eaton Corporation, Igor Stamenkovic, vice president & general manager, of the Electrical Engineering Services and Systems Division, and Brittany Ramos, strategic communications director for the Electrical Sector, Americas as they discuss how companies and individuals are fundamentally changing their behaviors to take advantage of the new technologies and equipment available to meet their needs.


Speaker Bios:


Igor Stamenkovic is the vice president & general manager of the Electrical Engineering Services and Systems Division for the Electrical Sector at Eaton, a global intelligent power management company.


In this role, Igor is responsible for operational and financial growth across field, engineering, and project services, as well as setting the strategic direction for Eaton's microgrid and distributed energy resources (DERs) integration for commercial, industrial, and utility markets in North America.


With more than 20 years of experience in engineering, marketing, and operations, Igor's prior role at Eaton was director of Global Technology, during which he had responsibility for innovation and strategic technology development across Eaton's Electrical and Industrial Sectors.


Igor holds a PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois. He also holds both a bachelor's and master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Belgrade in Belgrade, Serbia.


Brittany Ramos is the strategic communications director, Americas Region of the Electrical Sector of Eaton, a global intelligent power management company.


Brittany is responsible for creating, implementing, and evaluating strategic communications plans and content for the Electrical Sector, Americas senior leadership team, and for the organization of 30,000+ employees. She coordinates globally and across Eaton's businesses and functions to develop and manage programs and empower Eaton's growth initiatives.


She has served in leadership roles in various nonprofit organizations and is passionate about organizations that promote and foster a culture of inclusion and belonging in the workplace. She currently serves on the board of the Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce.


Brittany has been recognized by numerous organizations for initiatives and involvement around driving towards equity in the workforce, as well as community involvement and leadership. Most recently, she was presented with the Energy Leadership Award from the Pittsburgh Business Times.

The Board may and will take remedial action against any individual, member, or any program participant in the event of non-adherence to this policy. Such action may range from a private or company-led warning to suspension of WEN membership for a stated term or a prohibition on attending future WEN events.
