https://www.linkedin.com/in/elizabethcambre/view moreElizabeth Cambre serves as the North America Geothermal Business Development Manager within the New Energies team at Vallourec, a leading steel manufacturer specializing in casing and tubulars, including the THERMOCASE® Vacuum Insulated Tubular (VIT) used in closed-loop geothermal applications.
In addition to her professional role, Elizabeth actively contributes to the geothermal community as the Mentoring Committee Chair for the Women in Geothermal USA Chapter and author of their Spotlight Articles where she highlights the achievements of geothermal industry leaders. She also fulfills the responsibilities of Educational Chair for the Geothermal Rising TxOkLa Rig and acts as the Technical Session Chair for both Enhanced Geothermal Systems and Closed Loop Systems at the 2024 Geothermal Rising Conference.
Elizabeth's professional journey extends over sixteen years and includes significant roles such as Global Business Development Manager at Aculon, Turbomachinery Senior Sales Manager at Baker Hughes, Director of Production Enhancement at Tendeka, and Global Product Line Manager within the Pressure Pumping team at Baker Hughes. Her career began as a Well Service Field Engineer with SLB in Oman, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi, after which she relocated to Houston, Texas.
She graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder with degrees in Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Chinese, and International Affairs. Beyond her professional life, Elizabeth is a devoted mother of two daughters, a fitness enthusiast, a member working towards Distinguished Toastmaster status with the Southeast Houston Toastmaster Club, a choir singer at St. Martin’s Episcopal Cathedral, and an aspiring author of her first book.
