She passionately partners with clients and colleagues to define robust operating models that can weather disruption and uncertainty – and identify the talent to drive impact. Kim has worked across the globe delivering projects in digital & innovation; M&A; operating model and organization design; and strategic planning.
Kim has also served in the DEI space in a variety of roles, from executive sponsor and strategist to grass-roots “implementationist”. Her experience includes standing up DEI governance; serving as an ERG leader; leading engagement surveys; hosting and speaking at conferences; leading RFPs; and facilitating workshops and delivering training.
Prior to Avant, Kim has held leadership, strategy, and line positions at Accenture, Hess Corporation, VillageMD, Booz & Company (now Strategy&, a part of the PWC network), Sia Partners, Athenian Consulting Solutions, and Celanese Corporation. Kim began her career as a process engineer with Celanese Corporation supporting its Pasadena, TX, Vinyl Acetate unit.
Kim holds multiple board positions, including as an Advisory Board Member for the North Texas Diversity Council and Rice University’s Center for Career Development. She was selected and currently serves as an Ambassador for the Town of Prosper Community Engagement Committee. She is also an executive member of the North Texas chapter of the Women’s Energy Network and a member of DallasHR.
Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Rice University and received her MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
Kim resides in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, in the town of Prosper, with her husband and daughter.
