More About this Event
Participants will discover how space, physicality, and vocal communication affect the stories they tell. Through a mixture of discussion and improvisation exercises, participants will explore key concepts in acting and text analysis used by classical actors. Participants will apply these newly acquired skills to relevant business text, practicing ways to decrease anxiety and increase confidence in all communication.
The curriculum will address the following key questions:
- How do theatre professionals utilize space, body, and voice to achieve their goals and objectives? What tools and strategies do classical actors employ to engage their audiences?
- How do theatre professionals employ text analysis, objectives, and tactics to enhance communication and personalize text?
- How can business professionals apply these tools and strategies to enhance their communication?
