Help clean up a small bit of Pennsylvania through Adopt-A-Highway on Wednesday, October 18st at 10:00 AM in Trout Run, PA!

The Susquehanna Valley Chapter has adopted a section of roadway with help from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's Adopt-A-Highway program! Through this program we will beautify Pennsylvania by removing litter from a portion of the Commonwealth. We have selected State Route 14 in the little village of Trout Run, Pennsylvania. This stretch of roadway can be accessed at the exit of Trout Run (Route 14) off State Route 15, north of Williamsport in Lycoming County. We chose this portion of roadway as a centralized location for all our members to give everyone an opportunity to participate in the program. At the conclusion of the highway cleanup, we will enjoy lunch, networking and spend some additional time as a chapter. Lunch will be held at a nearby location following the cleanup.

Please consider dressing for the weather, but also the conditions. Proper footwear and clothing should be considered for weather and biological hazards (e.g., ticks and poisonous plants). The terrain could be rocky, tall weeds, wet, and slippery.
