    Business Development Executive at Moss Adams

    Sally Hallingstad is a Business Development Executive for the energy group at Moss Adams, a national tax, assurance, and consulting firm. Prior to Moss Adams, she was the VP of Membership and Development with Western Energy Alliance, where she was responsible for soliciting new members as well as creating programs and events for current members. Sally’s been involved with Colorado’s oil and natural gas industry for more than 10 years, kicking off her career as the Executive Director of the Denver Petroleum Club before joining the communications team at Whiting Petroleum.
    Women’s Energy Network (WEN) is one of her passions and has been since the Colorado Chapter started in 2016. Having volunteered in several roles on both the Chapter and Global boards, she’s currently serving as WEN Global PPresident-Elect becoming President in 2025.
    Over the years, Sally has developed into a collaborative connector who’s passionate about finding solutions for a variety of situations. She also admits to having a “Vanilla Ice Complex,” as her tagline is: “If there’s a problem, yo, I'll solve it. Check out this hook while my network resolves it.”

    Fun Fact: Sally was a transportation consultant with the Academy of Country Music for five years, including the 50th Anniversary at AT&T Stadium in Dallas.

    Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Urban Solution Group

    Heidi Gill serves as CEO of Urban Solution Group. She founded Urban in 2017 to bridge the gap between oil and gas development and social compatibility. Focusing on comprehensive mitigation plans and products, Heidi designed and filed a patent on a new type of sound wall that helps mitigate impacts to surrounding communities during oil and gas operations. She spearheaded the capital raise to fund the manufacturing of her patented sound walls and now has over six miles of wall on the market which is enough inventory to be on 25-30 locations at once. Her most recent endeavor has been developing NavPlanIQ. A first of its kind, cloud-based energy specific software for long-term permitting, planning and execution of energy locations with a high focus on regulatory, compliance, noise monitoring and modeling, comprehensive mitigation and stakeholder engagement and grievance management. Urban currently works in the oil and natural gas, renewables and cryptocurrency industries.
    Prior to founding Urban, Heidi worked for Anadarko Petroleum where she oversaw all mitigation related activities with her primary focus on drilling, completions and production facilities. Heidi graduated from University of Oregon with bachelor’s degree in public relations and communications.
    Urban received the Top Company Award in the Energy Industry in 2023 from ColoradoBiz Magazine and was awarded Small Business of the Year in 2022 from the Denver Business Journal. Heidi serves on the Board of the Colorado Make-A-Wish Foundation and was awarded the Denver Business Journal’s 2020 Outstanding Women in Business for the Energy category along with being selected as one of their 2019 40 Under 40. She was awarded the Society of Petroleum Engineers 2019 Steward of the Industry Award. In 2018 she was awarded the Colorado Oil and Gas Association’s 2018 Emerging Leader Award and recognized by the Denver Business Journal as one of Denver’s 2018 Top Women in Energy.

    EVP of Government and Regulatory Affairs at Sunnova Energy Corporation

    Meghan Nutting is the Executive Vice President of Government and Regulatory Affairs at Sunnova Energy Corporation, a leading U.S. residential solar and storage services provider. In this role, she works closely with company and industry leaders, nonprofits, state and federal policymakers, and regulators to craft and implement policies that provide a more stable and sustainable business environment for solar electricity generation. Prior to working at Sunnova, she served as the Director of Policy and Electricity Markets at SolarCity for nearly five years. She has also worked as a Legislative Director for New York State Assembly member Linda Rosenthal and as a Press Secretary for former U.S. Senator Olympia Snowe. Meghan has held policy positions at the World Bank and the British Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs as well as a number of environmental organizations. In these positions, Meghan has worked on, advocated for, and impacted a significant number of energy and environment-related issues and policies. She has been named one of the #Solar100 thought leaders in the U.S., one of the Denver Business Journal’s top women in energy for 2018 and one of the DBJ’s top women in business in 2021. She was also a 2021 C3E award winner from the U.S. Department of Energy in the business category. She was a candidate for the Colorado House of Representatives in 2017-18. Meghan received her BA in Biology from Cornell University and her MPA from Princeton University.

    Kimberly Sands joined Discovery as Director of Development in September 2023. Ms. Sands has over 20 years of industry experience, most recently serving as Manager of Corporate Development at Bison Oil and Gas. Prior to Bison, she worked at PDC Energy and Great Western Petroleum, among other companies, working in positions of increasing responsibility across multiple basins. Ms. Sands began her career as a drilling engineer at BP/Vastar Resources. She holds a BS in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Denver. Ms. Sands is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Colorado. She is the current Vice President of the Denver Petroleum Club and a member of the Junior League of Denver.

Prior to co-founding Iridium Consulting Company, Caley served as the Vice President in two previous award-winning consulting and search firms. In both companies, she supported clients in identifying new approaches to their businesses and teams. In addition, Caley has successfully coached professionals across all levels of an organization to effectively advance their careers.

    She serves as a speaker and workshop administrator on human capital strategies, career development skills, soft skill development, the energy industry, and other key topics for private organizations, associations, and educational institutions. As an active member of the community, Caley served as President of the board of the Colorado chapter of the Women’s Energy Network (WEN), an international organization of 6,800+ women professionals who work across the energy value chain. Caley received the Denver Business Journal's Top 40 Women in Energy award in 2020.

    Caley is a Colorado native that can often be found mountain biking, hiking, or traveling outside of the office.
