Madeline Jowdy is head of the LNG consulting practice at S&P Global Commodities Insights, based in New York. She has spent over 20 years in the energy business, holding senior positions with management consultancy firm FTI; New York-based commodity research firm PIRA Energy Group and the analytics division of S&P Global Commodity Insights.
She specializes in market and policy advisory, strategy development, asset and company commercial due diligence, investment analysis, and carbon mitigation issues across the (LNG) value chain, including midstream and liquefaction, shipping and regasification in the Caribbean and Latin America. Ms. Jowdy is a frequent speaker on global gas issues at private client, investor meetings and conferences around the world on topics including global gas pricing mechanisms, US exports, Europe’s evolving role in global LNG markets, Asian demand drivers and the role of LNG as a transition fuel. Madeline holds a B.A. from American University in Washington, DC in Economics & International Relations. She completed a Master’s program in Middle Eastern Studies at Georgetown University, where she concentrated in energy economics.
