The Women's Energy Network of Greater Oklahoma and Women of Williams are pleased to announce a collaborative event on March 10th in honor of Women's History Month. We are honored to host Dr. Brandy Thomas Wells from Oklahoma State University. Dr. Wells is an expert in modern United States history, with a focus on race, gender, community-building, transnational activism, and foreign relations. Dr. Wells is the founder and editor of the digital humanities project, Women of Black Wall Street, which debuted as part of the May 2021 commemoration of the Tulsa Race Massacre.
Dr. Wells will deliver her lecture in the Williams Theatre at 2:00 PM.
