WEN in the Wild: Bike the Burgh Tour

Join WEN and Bike the Burgh Tours on a memorable guided bike tour of Pittsburgh!


We will cruise through the Financial and Cultural District streets, explore the Strip District, and check out the North Shore on its scenic river trails. We will also cruise to the point and through Market Square. We will dive into the history of Pittsburgh, tracking down the people who shaped the city into what it is today: a beauty. Old and new buildings, city squares, and public art will turn this ride into a unique event full of exciting discoveries of The Burgh.


The three-hour tour is approximately six miles long, and all fitness levels are welcome. We will ride at a relaxing pace on designated bike trails and on-street protected bike lanes. Attendees may bring their own bikes or rent an 8-speed city bike from Bike the Burgh Tours for an additional $5. Helmets will be available for all attendees. Please wear biking-appropriate attire and closed-toed shoes.


The tour will start and end at Bike the Burgh Tours at 1049 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. The shop is on the side of the Convention Center, Downtown.

Physical Liability Waiver

By registering for this event, the Attendee recognizes that the event requires physical exertion that may be strenuous at times and may cause physical injury. The Attendee is fully aware of the risks and hazards involved. It is the attendee's responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding participation in the above-mentioned event. Attendee represents and warrants that they have no medical condition that would prevent their participation in the event and agrees to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damage known or unknown which they might incur as a result of participating in the event. Such injuries may include, but are not limited to, heart attacks, muscle strains, muscle pulls, muscle tears, broken bones, shin splints, heat prostration, injuries to knees, injuries to the back, injuries to the foot, or any other illness or soreness, including death.


Media Release Agreement

By registering for this event, the attendee acknowledges that Women's Energy Network (WEN) and its subsidiaries may take photos and video of this event for use in WEN news and promotional material, in print, electronic and other media, including the WEN website. By registering for this event, I grant WEN and its subsidiaries the right to use any image, photograph, voice, or likeness, without limitation, in its promotional materials and publicity efforts without compensation. All media becomes the property of WEN. Media may be displayed, distributed, or used by WEN for any purpose. WEN shall not be responsible for photographs or videos taken and/or shared by other event attendees.


Non-Solicitation Policy

Don't forget to bring business cards! WEN has a non-solicitation policy. By registering for this event, the attendee agrees to adhere to the policy.


Event Refunds and Cancellations:

Refunds are a chapter-by-chapter decision. Please contact the event contact with the cancellation or refund requests.

Walk-ins: No Walk-ins

Parking: Parking is available half a block away at the Grant St. Transportation Center Garage for $5. Enter the garage on 12th Street between Liberty Ave and Penn Ave. Please plan accordingly to arrive at the shop by 6 pm.
