She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas Southern University and an MBA from LeTourneau University, with concentrations in Management and Human Resources. She also serves on the board for Genesys Works Houston as the Governance Chair.

Lamonica Spivey is an award-winning DEI Champion and HR Professional with a wealth of experience in the Food & Beverage and Energy industries. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources and Master of Human Resource Management degrees. A sought-after speaker, Lamonica has presented at the 2022 Energy Inclusion Conference (received DEI Champion Award), 2022 ESG Capstone Seminar, and 2024 Women’s Energy Network Global Conference to name a few. Her dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion earned her the DEI Professional in the Energy Industry GRIT Award.

Driven by a purpose to foster development, growth, and authenticity, she continues to create inclusive environments where people and organizations can thrive. As an active Steering Committee Member of the United Way of Greater Houston’s Women’s Initiative affinity group, she is doing the work in the community as well.

She has also served as the Chair of the Energy Workforce & Technology Council's Inclusion & Diversity Engagement Committee, where she collaborates with industry leaders and peers to advance inclusion and diversity initiatives across the energy sector.
