WebsiteAs Senior Vice-President, Safety & Technical Services, Danika Yeager leads a cross-border, integrated team of safety and technical experts from across North America. She is responsible for streamlined safety and technical support, asset and integrity management and operational excellence for TC Energy’s natural gas business. Ms. Yeager also serves as a board member for the Bruce Power nuclear power plant in Ontario, Canada and for the non-profit Young Pipeline Professionals USA association. She is based in Houston, Texas.
Prior to her current appointment, Ms. Yeager served as the Senior VicePresident of U.S. Natural Gas Pipelines and the President of Columbia Pipelines, responsible for the operation and maintenance of TC Energy’s 32,000 miles of natural gas pipelines in the U.S. She was also responsible for land management, environmental regulations and compliance with the U.S. Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA).
Ms. Yeager joined TC Energy in September 2022 from Alyeska Pipeline Service Company, where she served as President. Ms. Yeager first joined Alyeska as Vice-President of Operations and Maintenance in April 2021, overseeing all operations and maintenance of pipeline, pump station and marine terminal assets from Prudhoe Bay to Valdez, Alaska.
Prior to joining Alyeska, she led the development of a $1.2-billion crude export terminal with Long Star Ports, LLC in Corpus Christi, Texas. She also previously held executive positions at Colonial Pipeline Company and Enterprise Products Company.
Ms. Yeager has over 25 years of midstream experience in Operations, HSE, Regulatory Compliance, Commercial and Joint Venture partnerships on both the board ownership and operator sides. She has diverse knowledge of the midstream oil and gas industry, with a proven track record of leading successful teams and overseeing complex systems. Ms. Yeager has served and continues to serve on several American Petroleum Institute (API) and Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA) committees, including the Pipeline Executive Committee, Midstream Committee, Pipeline Safety Committee and the Performance Excellence Team. She also served on the Board of the Alaska Oil & Gas Association (AOGA), and she is an active member of the Board of the Young Pipeline Professionals (YPP) USA.
Ms. Yeager earned a BA from Mary Washington College in Virginia, an MS from the University of South Carolina, and an MBA from Richmond College in London, England. She recently completed an MA in Human Resource Management from the University of Houston, Clear Lake.
