A fireside chat | Mentorship, Sponsorship & the Value of Relationships with Danika Yeager

We'll tackle a topic that fundamentally shapes our professional journeys: the power of mentorship and sponsorship. Behind nearly every successful career stands a network of relationships that provided guidance, opened doors, and championed growth at critical moments. These connections don't just enhance our professional developmentโ€”they often define it.

We have the privilege of exploring this crucial topic with Danika Yeager, Senior Vice-President, Safety and Technical Services at TC Energy. Throughout her distinguished career, Danika has navigated complex leadership challenges and built an impressive track record of success. But beyond her professional achievements, she has consistently demonstrated a commitment to developing talent and creating pathways for others to advance.

And mentorship is a two-way street. We'll hear the stories behind the successโ€”the mentors who provided critical guidance, the sponsors who advocated when it mattered most, and the lessons learned along the way. Danika's insights on building meaningful professional relationships will provide us with practical strategies we can apply to our own career journeys.
