Diana K. Grauer, Ph.D. is a technical and management consultant for the oil & gas and energy technology industries. She currently serves as Director of R&D in NOV and as an Advisor to multiple startups. Diana was formerly Chief Technology Officer of Ocean Aero, a startup in the Blue Economy and offshore technology space. She has also held various technical leadership roles at TechnipFMC, Hoerbiger, and Schlumberger, Cameron, and the U.S. Department of Energy.

Diana serves on the Subsea Systems Institute at University of Houston, the Center for Marine Robotics at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, the Business Plan Competition at the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship, and the Industrial Advisory Committee for the Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering at Kansas State University.

Diana holds a Master’s Certificate in Venture Capital from University of California at Berkeley, as well as both a B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University where she graduated with honors.
