    Business Operations Manager at Oncor Electric Delivery

    Katie Pelton is the Business Operations Manager for Transmission Operations & Construction Management at Oncor Electric Delivery. She manages a team that oversees contract compliance to ensure cost controls and contractor performance metrics. Internally, the team provides oversight to Transmission Operations’ capital and maintenance budgets and provides field accounting support. Katie’s team was formed in 2021 to improve on construction business processes and provide analytics to make data driven decisions. The Business Operations team built a robust and customized KPI system that includes invoicing and change order systems, onboarding templates, end to end RFP process, and many more customized business solutions.

    Katie first joined Oncor in 2014 in Supply Chain, Sourcing & Procurement working as a buyer for 5 years mostly focused on sourcing for risk mitigation and negotiating master service agreements. She rounds out her supply chain experience in warehousing and logistics during her time running the family business, an international supplier to the broom, brush and mop industry. Katie Pelton graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelors in Accounting & Finance.

    Project Manager at Qualus

    Capri Spillman is at Qualus LLC as a project manager who specializes in leading projects associated with training & development as well as process improvement initiatives. Capri offers a unique perspective in the transmission power delivery space.

    Capri graduated from Eastern New Mexico University with an Electronics Engineering Technology degree. Capri worked as a technician at Oncor Electric Delivery within substations for 5 years developing valuable hands-on technical expertise. She then had an opportunity to gain 2 years of leadership experience managing an operations office with a team of 15 employees. Capri transitioned into a role in 2022 in which she was able to utilize her skills and apply that to her passions and strengths to teach and mentor transmission engineers in the process of building a development road map for the young group.

    In late 2023, Capri joined Qualus to continue applying her natural skills and passions for training, mentoring, and implementation of process improvement for clients in the power transmission space.
