Join us for an exclusive site tour of Wayne Township Landfill​, where you'll get an inside look at their innovative and environmentally responsible operations.

📍 Location: Wayne Township Landfill

We will begin in the education room, featuring an "almost" life-size cross-section of the landfill. Here, you'll gain insight into the landfill's history and their vision for the future. From there, we'll board a school bus for a guided tour of our facilities, including:

• Scale House – The first stop for all incoming waste
• Wood Processing Facility – Where they manage and repurpose wood waste
• CNG Station – The landfill's commitment to cleaner fuel alternatives
• Landfill – The heart of their operations
• Gas Recovery Facility – Capturing landfill gas for energy production
• Leachate Facility – Treating and managing liquid byproducts
• Recycling Center – Enhancing sustainability through material recovery

At Wayne Township Landfill, we are more than just a dump – we are a technologically advanced and environmentally friendly waste management facility.

Safety Requirements:Fire-Retardant (FR) Clothing (Outer Layer), closed-toe shoes and high visibility vests are the required PPE. If you do not have some or all listed PPE please indicate on the registration form and we will coordinate appropriate PPE for the visit.
