As a GESTEM guide, you will lead a group of 8-10 middle school students to fun, hands-on STEM-themed workshops presented by local companies. You can engage, inspire, and help them explore the exciting and vast world of STEM. We welcome volunteers from all career paths and genders, as long as you are interested in helping students learn how they can channel their ingenuity and creativity into these fields. Volunteers will be provided with a short pre-event training session via webinar, and helpful tips to help you make the most out of your day with the students. The day of the event you will receive free coffee and snacks, a boxed lunch, and a thank-you gift!

Registered volunteers are invited to bring their own 7th-grade girl (or girl-identifying) and their friend. Register your students here.

Please note that this is not a WENCO-hosted event. Registration is via the external links above. Questions should be directed to swerms@gmail.com.
