Debra Carmona is the principal manager of Organizational Readiness in the NextGen ERP program at Southern California Edison. She is responsible for organizational effectiveness planning and engagements to aid in achieving performance results through the NextGen ERP business transformation.
Debra joined SCE in 2006 and has experience in Information Technology (IT), Customer Service (CS), and Transmission & Distribution (T&D). Most recently, she was the senior manager leading the Grid Resilience/Wildfire Mitigation IT portfolio where she drove technology solutions enabling SCE’s Wildfire Mitigation Plan and PSPS program. Prior to this role, Debra was the senior manager over the Customer Service Re-Platform Program (CSRP) Project Deliver Organization, responsible for end-to-end solution delivery and people management strategies of SCE’s new customer service system. She has also been the principal project manager for T&D Work Management Solutions, executing the portfolio strategy by enabling T&D design, engineering, and construction processes through new and innovative technologies. Debra has additional experience in T&D engineering, work order lifecycle processes, and the foundational Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program.
Prior to SCE, Debra worked as an independent contractor in performing arts. Debra holds an Executive MBA as well as Leadership & Strategy and General Management Certificates from Claremont Graduate University. She has a Bachelor of Arts from La Sierra University.
