The tour will be held on Thursday, April 24th at 10am followed by lunch, and will be a great opportunity to connect with other WEN members.

About Duke Energy's Mt. Holly Microgrid Innovation Area: The idea was conceived by Duke Energy's Emerging Technology Office in 2014 to build an R&D center to test innovations without affecting customer circuits or reliability. Twenty-five (25) different vendors joined Duke to build an interoperable microgrid that can seamlessly isolate the center from the utility grid, and then seamlessly reconnect it.
